The role
Action for Children protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
We are looking for an open-minded, curious individual to comfortably helm research, design concepting, execution of ideas, and stakeholder management.
You will make a difference by:
- Proactively contributing to the continual improvement of Creative Services systems and processes.
- Managing the creative development process.
- Project managing jobs through from brief to completion, being the first point of contact throughout the process.
- Ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard within agreed timeframe and budget.
- Contributing to our brand and marketing objectives.
- Managing situations where the brand guidelines are challenged with creative solutions.
You will need:
- Relevant degree or substantial experience in similar setting.
- Professional qualification in design.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detailed knowledge of the design industry: trends, awards, publications, conferences, exhibitions, exponents.
- Sound understanding of how design interplays with other branding elements: eg: positioning, architecture, copywriting and organisational culture.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
