Salary: £10.30 per hour

Location: RAF Honington, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Hours: 2 hours per week, term time only - Wednesdays 16:45-18:45

Structure: Permanent Part Time

We deliver the Benevolent Fund, Airplay Youth Support Programme and Ben Club play sessions in partnership with the Royal Air Force, across RAF Stations all across the UK.

Ben Clubs provides sessions of playwork each week.

What is the role?

The RAF Ben Club delivers play sessions to children aged 5 to 8 years in partnership with the RAF.

As a Sessional Ben Club Playworker, you'll liaise with other care agencies and care professionals to directly support children, young people and their families, agreeing and providing specialised intervention services in line with our business plan.

What will you need?

  • The ability to relate to and inspire children aged 5 to 8
  • A willingness to take part, get involved and have fun
  • A willingness to commit to the schedule
  • Preferably some experience of delivering activities to this age group
  • A firm commitment to the development and safeguarding of children and young people
