A Defence & Missile client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, are currently seeking an experienced Test Architect to join their team in Stevenage. The selected Candidate will be responsible for defining and managing the requirements for Test Equipment and Test Specifications. This crucial role requires someone with a robust skill set and attention to detail.
As shipping officer, you will be responsible for arranging & overseeing all export shipments from site to destinations worldwide to meet customer demands by road or air while adhering to the MBDA processes to deliver a benchmark export and shipping service to the business.

What you'll get to do as a Shipping Officer:
To ensure compliance, you will collaborate with the export control team, customs officers, and freight forwarders to provide a benchmark export and shipping service.
- Ensuring timely delivery of products that align with project demands.
- Creation, completion, and management of documentation required to effect export deliveries, including transport documents, hazardous goods notes, customs formalities, etc.
- Ensure topicality of Export Register, Transport Registers, Hazardous Goods Register
- Manages UK and International transportation, working closely with Security and Export Control departments.
- Assist the Export Control Department in compliance with Export Licences.
- Maintain topicality with all transport legislation up to and including prohibited weapons level.
- You'll need to identify and implement process improvements to create a more efficient and cost-effective service.
- Day-to-day knowledge of all movements from the site
- All-around day-to-day housekeeping, ensuring any required administrative duties are completed for each shipment, ensuring we are always audit-compliant
- Keeping up to date with the archiving and scanning
- Promotion of functional excellence
- The successful candidate would be expected to undertake Known consignor training and remain compliant with the controls put in place.
