Skilled Aircraft Electrician

Guidant are working alongside the he world's largest aircraft manufacturer and are looking for Skilled Aircraft Electricians to join the team at their renowned site in Broughton within the Wing Build Production section.

The wings of an aircraft are one of the most technically complex parts of a plane's structure. They define the overall aerodynamic performance and are particularly important for securing excellent eco efficient solutions.

Applicants for Aircraft Electrician positions will need to have completed an Engineering qualification or aerospace apprenticeship (or military equivalent) and have the required experience as a fully trained Aircraft Electrician

Description of the job
- You will be working as a skilled Aircraft Electrician, in a wing build production environment.
- General tasks include assembly and installation of electrical assemblies, wiring looms and functional testing/trouble shooting of electrical systems.
- General fitting and assembly of aircraft components, including repair of metallic and composite materials
- The role will involve working in confined spaces, working at height and may be physically demanding.

- Have high regard for and understanding of Health & Safety, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the relevant risk assessments and PPE assessments.

Shifts

Double days or night shifts available below - speak to our team to learn more.

  • Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10pm and Week 2 - 13:30pm to 20:40pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Nights: 20:45pm to 06:00am (Monday to Thursday)

Please note: (applicants must have completed an engineering-based Apprenticeship, either standards based (modern or traditional) or time-served (traditional), and satisfy both the academic and vocational requirements of our business i.e., Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills level 2 and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering field)
