The UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, are looking for an experienced Skilled Paint Sprayer to be responsible for carrying out manufacturing tasks within the Paint Department following product certification procedures, defined craft standards, and allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives. The position is based at the Bolton site.
What we're looking for:
- Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
- Experience as a skilled person; formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent.
- ESD training; Medical requirements
- Previous experience in the aerospace or defence industry would be desirable.

What you'll get to do as a Skilled Paint Sprayer:
- Possess experience in Preparation (Masking) and Paint Spraying.
- Ability/willingness to demonstrate certified work in line with company quality standards.
- Support product certification and approval via regular audits.
- Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.
- Comprehensive conversant with all equipment and tools associated with the Paint Spraying process.
- Review and finalise all paperwork associated with the Manufacturing data pack.
- Maintain the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
