Guidant Global is working with the UK's busiest airport, who seeks an experienced Social Media Campaign Manager responsible for creating social content that is both engaging and supports our commercial goals across Western and Chinese social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, WeChat, and Weibo).

As a Social Media Campaign Manager, the candidate will work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager on delivering the social media strategy, support social community engagement and play an active role in ensuring effective passenger communications during disruption and crisis.

What you'll get to do as a Social Media Campaign Manager:

The successful candidate will produce reactive and proactive content to drive passenger experience, enhance the reputation and increase commercial revenue. In addition to creating and planning content, making business-wide campaigns thrive on social, delivering 'best in class crisis communication (essential), ' and finding innovative ways to 'surprise and delight' passengers on the creative platform social media provides.

  • Support the execution of the Western and Chinese social media planning and strategy for the Heathrow brands and coordinate and schedule social posts.
  • Create and commission social content with a high level of creativity, writing posts, producing assets, and assisting in the development of the monthly content calendar
  • Advise on the correct image and video specifications to use, as well as think of new ways to exploit the formats available
  • Develop, document, and implement paid and organic social media campaigns, working with many stakeholders and owning & managing their campaigns
  • Build and maintain reports to deliver robust pre-and-post campaign analysis of social media activity, maintain tracking reports demonstrating core metrics such as engagement, sentiment, and conversions
  • Support the Heathrow Social Media & Customer Engagement Teams with effective social community engagement and assist with FAQs and responses, as required. Ensure great attention to detail and accurate and timely information to manage sentiment and reputation.
  • Join the crisis rota and lead the messaging and communications across social media in collaboration with Comms crises teams when on call
  • Due to the business's changing nature and demands, the role holder is expected to be flexible and support the more comprehensive marketing & digital team with social media initiatives.

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrated working experience in a social media role with demonstrable social community management and content creation experience - photography + video capture and editing
  • Confident copywriter with an eye for accurate grammar who can craft and amplify daily social media content that drives an increase in engagement and traffic
  • Profound understanding of the social media landscape and passion for keeping on top of social trends
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a good ability to negotiate and influence
  • Good ability to communicate complicated issues to a wide range of audiences
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work rapidly, consistently, and proactively to a high standard of performance
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier Pro

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in a multi-functional service-led business
  • Knowledge of TikTok, Chinese social media and native advertising (CTrip, Baidu, Little Red Book)
  • Social Media Platform Management tools e.g., Sprinklr
  • Influencer marketing and blogger outreach
