We're currently seeking a number of experienced and ambitious Software Evaluators to work with our exceptional client, a world class brand in a secure environment to support major challenging and highly rewarding projects across this complex organisation.

These contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in Gloucestershire.

These Software Evaluator roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll have the potential to work effectively across a number of teams and a diverse range of projects within our technology community. You will be encouraged and assisted to enhance your skills on unique projects.

You will be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm and experience of working in small, diverse, multi disciplinary teams to deliver flexible and outstanding solutions for internal and external senior stakeholders. You need to have proven track record of delivering full life cycle software projects to time, cost, quality and meeting customer's expectations and requirements.

Your experience:

As an exceptional Software Evaluator you will have understanding and a track record of :

• Industry software development practices
• Independent work on detailed analysis of design of complex and novel security products
• Validation of cryptographic mechanisms, primitives, and implementations
• Detailed knowledge of C & C++
• Mapping and tracing of Security Enforcing Functions
• Code review
• Modern IDEs
• Static analysis tools
• Reviewing source code and determining if it is well written, consistent with design and coding standards.
• Providing advice on ways to rectify implementation deficiencies.
• Reviewing test plans and advising on appropriateness

And will be able to demonstrate:

• Knowledge of industry software development best practice
• Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities found in security products written in C & C++
