MBDA, in partnership with Guidant Global, is currently seeking a skilled Systems Design Engineer (L4) to join their project in Stevenage. This position will involve working on the development, construction, and testing of real hardware for a critical missile sub-system. As a Systems Design Engineer, you will play an integral role in the architecture design and technical requirement development for a seeker.

What we're looking for:
- Contribute to the architecture design and technical requirement development for a seeker in the missile sub-system project.
- Utilize your strong software engineering background to have system-wide impact.
- Demonstrate proficiency in C++ programming.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid software engineering background with a focus on system-wide impact.
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- Proactive attitude, collaborative nature, and ability to work well in a team environment.
Additional Skills include:
- Experience with the full software development process, including engagement with requirement authorities, automated target integration, and comprehensive documentation.
- Familiarity with innovative tools and approaches aimed at enhancing efficiency and sustainability.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Ada and QT.
- Understanding of DDS middleware and Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C, IEC61508, and restricted coding standards like MISRA C++.
