Guidant Global is working with the UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, who need an Electrical Test Operator to be an asset of the business in Bolton to test duties, complete record-keeping and comply with the manufacturing process.
The Electrical Test Operator's responsibilities include following product certification procedures, defining workmanship standards, and allocating budgets and timescales.

What you'll get to do as an Electrical Test Operator
• Certify the product in line with the Product Certification procedure.
• Sustain product certification and approval via regular audits.
• Maintain a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks
• Set up testing procedures, including the need for periodic recalibration of test equipment.
• Implement tests on electronic equipment following test instructions, using specified test equipment.
• Carry through simple fault-finding procedures on electronic equipment.
• Keep test records and report faults for rectification.
• Ensure manufacturing test times are met.
• Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
• Maintain the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality.
• A thriving team player who can demonstrate customer focus.
What we're looking for
• Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC.
• Standard further education certificate to HNC or equivalent Certification.
• Manual handling training: Lifting & Slinging training (Including overhead cranes).
• ESD training.
• Significant electrical test experience
