Job Title: Administrative Assistant
(Spanish/English)
Location: Queens NY 11433
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM ET On-site for the first 4 weeks (M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM ET), then hybrid (2 remote days per week, assigned by the project director).
About the Role:
We are seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Administrator to support participants in maintaining their employment and assist individuals who have experienced job loss in finding new opportunities. This full-time position offers a hybrid work schedule after the initial training period.
The ideal candidate has 0-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles, along with strong communication skills and fluency in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to provide support, increase customer satisfaction, and improve client retention.
- Follow standard procedures and scripts to assist customers using fundamental knowledge of company services and products.
- Generate letters and other documents as needed.
- Maintain office records and filing systems.
- Log, route, and manage correspondence (emails, letters, faxes, etc.).
- Prepare, log, and track incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure proper document control for mail and project-related communication.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, both internally and externally.
- Provide backup support for recording and distributing meeting minutes within the required timeframe.
Requirements:
・Fluency in Spanish (highly preferred)
・High school diploma or equivalent
・0-2 years of professional experience (entry-level role)
・Strong communication and organizational skills
・Background in customer service or sales preferred
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative tasks
