The role

As an Administrative Officer across the Cluster, you will support the service we provide:

By delivering a full range of administrative and front of house services associated with the day to day running of our busy project based in our Management/Admin hub in Craigmillar area of Edinburgh.

By providing an excellent front of house service to greet internal and external visitors, ensuring their experience is welcoming and professional.

You will be dealing with a range of administration by assisting the senior business support staff with financial admin including petty cash, processing invoices and report checking. HR duties including inputting/extracting data and producing reports/spreadsheets. By sourcing/tracking and placing orders including cleaning equipment/food shopping and general activity equipment. By placing work orders with contractors and tracking/recording this information.


You will need:

-Experience that shows a proven background in business administration especially cash-flow, petty-cash and processing invoices.

-A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

-Experience of taking minutes at meetings.

-A high level of motivation and a flexible approach, with the ability to work to deadlines and manage changing priorities at short notice.

-The ability to maintain confidentiality, understand safeguarding responsibilities and act with discretion.

-A professional yet personable approach to give the best first impression of our services.

-Good organisation skills.

-Excellent communication skills at all levels by phone, email and face-to-face.
