The role
The Caerphilly Family Intervention Team and the Gwent Wide Family Intervention Team work with children aged 5-14 years struggling with emotional regulation or behavioural difficulties, with worries or anxieties, or problems with family relationships.
As a Business Support Officer, you'll be a key member and will play a vital role in, providing high level support to the Caerphilly Family Intervention Team (FIT) and the Gwent Wide FIT Team.
You will make a difference by:
- Providing a high-quality range of administrative services across the departments.
- Undertaking some HR and Finance tasks as well as compiling data, minute taking, diary management.
- Dealing with internal and external stake holders, being responsible for your own tasks and leading on some of them.
- Ability to present a variety of information in various formats to different stakeholders within a senior level.
- Being effective, intuitive, flexible and able to work to deadlines.
- Having a willingness to learn with strong attention to detail and adhere to best practises.
- Having excellent customer service skills and being a good communicator.
- Having a sensitive approach to the work that we undertake.
You will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar administrative role with excellent communication skills is essential.
- Advanced IT Skills and experience of use of various IT systems including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Good at prioritising and meeting deadlines with excellent organisation and planning skills.
- Confident communicator, able to converse with senior professionals from a variety of backgrounds.
- Fully committed to working towards the best outcomes for children and young people.
- Proactive with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to handle sensitive data.
