Business Support Officer Level 2
Location: Flexible - office based in one of the following locations across England North, with some homeworking where appropriate: Birmingham, Chesterfield, Droitwich, Malvern, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Salford, Teesside, Worcester (Please see attached document for specific locations)
Job Type: Full Time - 35 hours per week
Salary: up to £19,100

As an Administrative Officer you'll be a key member of our Business Support team in England North covering a wide geographical area from the Scottish border down to the West Midlands. You will report directly to the Business Support National Lead for England North.
The role:
This is the ideal role for you if you have excellent administrative skills and you have a genuine interest in developing your potential within the HR field. As a Business Support Officer, you will be predominantly responsible for providing HR administrative support for our managers across the England North area. Experience of providing a professional and confidential service and flexibility within this role are essential. Travel across the England North area will also be essential. Here are some of the key elements of this role:
- Providing managers with administrative support for change management projects, including restructures and TUPE in/out of staff
- Organising meetings, booking venues and compiling information packs for attendees
- Minute-taking at formal HR process meetings
- Preparation of any HR-related letters for managers
- Compilation of confidential staffing information
- Compilation of Powerpoint presentations

What you'll need:
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Advanced IT Skills and experience of use of various IT systems including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Good at prioritising and meeting deadlines with excellent organisation and planning skills.
- You will be a confident communicator, able to converse with senior professionals from a variety of backgrounds.
- You will be fully committed to working towards the best outcomes for children and young people.
- You will be proactive with a can do attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive data.
