The role

Flintshire Family First Disability Service provides support for families of children with disabilities and additional needs. We offer support and information as well as creating opportunities for children to access and participate in leisure activities in the local community.

As a Children Services Worker, you'll support the development of families by creating fun and stimulating environments to enhance skills and promote active participation in group activities and one to one sessions.

You will make a difference by:

- Being alert to child protection and safeguarding issues and inform appropriate line managers of concerns in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Holding 1:1 sessions with families to offer support and advice.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with families and other organisations

You will need:

- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
- To be active and creative.
- Flexibility to work weekends and school holidays.
- Excellent communication skills.
