We're looking for a Compliance Specialist on a permanent basis.

A day in the life of a Compliance Specialist at Guidant Global includes…

Supporting the Head of Compliance with the implementation and enforcement of legislative, contractual and best practice requirements across the Impellam Group brands and customer programs.

This role will involve providing expert support with operational compliance activities, to include the governance of operational compliance processes and the resolution of compliance-related issues.

Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Support with resolving compliance issues whilst helping to increase the business's knowledge of legislation and compliance best practice
  • Manage and respond to compliance queries via the compliance helpdesk
  • Administrative support for compliance activities, including reviewing and updating compliance related policies and processes
  • Response to contractual queries with responsibility of agreeing to basic contractual changes
  • Compliance reporting
  • Production of compliance documentation for both internal and external use
  • Assistance with compliance work stream activities for new client implementations
  • Coordination and assistance with compliance projects related to regulatory change and projects designed to improve operational processes and mitigate risk
  • Creation and delivery of compliance and regulatory training
  • Support with compliance materials for tenders
  • Proactive maintenance of ISO9001:2015 accreditation
  • Drives compliance awareness in the business via Workplace and other communication platforms
  • Research the external marketplace relevant to recruitment legislation, pre-employment vetting, screening and compliance processes and attending seminars/workshops
  • Continues to develop an awareness of legislation and compliance requirements

What we're looking for:

We are looking for someone with a recruitment / HR background and a genuine interest in Compliance , as well as legislative knowledge of AWR and IR35.
