Corporate Fundraising Team

Our corporate fundraising team is experienced in delivering exceptional corporate partnerships that are admired industry wide. We are working with some leading corporate organisations in the UK. Our current partners include our multi-million pound partnership with Royal Mail, FirstGroup, Dell, CBRE, Turner & Townsend and many more.

You will be joining an exceptional team during an exciting growth phase within the organisation. The charity has recently launched a new brand and a new integrated campaign and we have the ambition to double our voluntary income by 2020.

Owing to a period of maternity leave, we are seeking a Corporate Development Manager to lead one of our largest corporate partnerships which encompasses employee engagement, high-value events and significant pro bono projects.

Responsibilities

  • Account management responsibility for one of our most lucrative corporate accounts, delivering all expectations to an exceptional level
  • Lead an internal team made up of three direct reports
  • Meet and surpass agreed partnership objectives on income, communications and engagement
  • Creating and delivering excellent stewardship plans in order to successfully grow and retain partnerships
  • Build strong and effective relationships with Action for Children and partner staff across both businesses (including at a senior level) in order to secure their buy in for the partnership
  • Represent the partnership at a senior level to internal and external audiences with a solid understanding of the work streams and cumulative impact of what the partnership is trying to achieve
  • Identify and secure additional fundraising opportunities
  • Effective management of income and expenditure budgets
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the achievement of the team expectations

Experience Required?

  • A minimum of 3 years' corporate fundraising experience
  • Line management experience of at least one person
  • Experience of managing corporate partnerships with a six figure value
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with people at all levels of business
  • Excellent planning and project management skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication and written skills
  • A proactive, collaborative and customer focused approach
  • Proven ability to work well within a team and provide support to colleagues
  • Experience of effectively managing income and expenditure budgets
  • You will be passionate about the corporate fundraising sector and have a strong work ethic
