Guidant are currently looking for a Customer Service Advisor for an initial temporary position. As a Customer Service Advisor you will be required to works as an effective member of an evolving Customer Service team providing excellent service to a diverse range of customers.
Ensure delivery of a wide range of services to the highest standard whilst demonstrating commitment to understanding and meeting the diverse needs of our customers.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist customers to gain speedy access to Council services by clarifying customers needs to ensure service delivered matches service and customer expectations.
- Efficiently and effectively operate equipment including the Customer Contact Centre telephone system and the Customer Services queue system.
- To resolve customer enquiries in a professional, courteous and efficient manner and in line with Service Level Agreements and the Councils Customer Service Standards.
- Ensure that customers are aware of all access channels and positively promote the most efficient channels for the customer to access council services.
- Accurately record all customer contacts and actions, to build an accurate and up to date customer contact history.
- Work in accordance with the provisions of the data protection act, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Take ownership of all queries, personally resolving non-complex and some complex issues including those involving statutory legislation.
- To operate professionally both as an individual and team member for the benefit of the customer at all times, regularly contributing ideas, suggestions and feedback to contribute to the effectiveness and continual improvement of the service.
- To take a flexible approach to changing patterns of work and undertake such other duties consistent with the job purpose and grade of post.
