Permanent, 40 hours per week (Monday - Sunday 1 weekend out of every 4)
Hours are between 8am - 6pm (No Shift Rota)
Salary: £19,760 (available overtime with enhanced rate)
Join our dedicated inbound telephony team of Customer Service Representatives and get to work on some of our accounts including Aviva, Phoenix, Scottish Widows and many other leading life and pensions household names in the UK.
Our Customer Service Representatives are crucial to providing excellent service to the customers of our clients. To ensure you are fully equipped with all the necessary skills, you will receive extensive training through a programme designed to help you feel confident with product knowledge and make an impact within your role.
What you can expect to do:
- Communicating clearly to provide general information across a broad range of financial products, checking the status of claims and resolving complaints
- Advising members on their current pension value or on other questions they may have
- Work with members who are ready to take retirement income to ensure the best possible outcome and service is provided
- Collaborate with independent financial advisers who are working on behalf of multiple customers
- Providing the best possible service and ensure customers receive correct and timely information
- Directing relatives of a member that has passed away to ensure their relevant needs are dealt with in an empathetic and appropriate manner
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 4 Standard Grade/Nat 4 (or equivalent), to include English and Maths
- Minimum 1 year within a relevant customer-facing environment (i.e. retail, hospitality, etc.)
- A confident, friendly and professional telephone manner with strong written and verbal skills
- Proficient and confident in the use of basic telephonic systems, computer systems and technology
- An ability to assimilate new information quickly and be flexible and adaptable to change
- Must possess and demonstrate a helpful, can-do and positive experience-oriented outlook
