Our client is a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, and they are currently seeking an experienced Data & Systems Technical Officer. This role will be a part of the Finance and Commercial team within Facilities Management, responsible for overseeing contracts and providers for cleaning, catering, and maintenance services across the entire UK portfolio. Additionally, Facilities Management is responsible for land acquisitions and project management, which includes building new structures and refurbishing offices.

  • Knowledge and proficiency in using various software packages such as Planon (CAFM), Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent experience and knowledge of various IT systems and tools - CAFM preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate data and information
  • Understanding and experience working with Performance Management Frameworks, KPI's and SLA's
  • Excel, BI Dashboards and SQL/ HTML
  • A proactive problem-solver with excellent analytical skills for data interpretation.

What you'll get to do as a Data & Systems Technical Officer:

The candidate will support the FM Commercial Systems Manager in building and developing CAFM tool upgrades, patchworks, and business cases. They will also ensure the integrity, availability, and reliability of data inputted to all CAFM modules. The candidate will be responsible for system configuration and functionality building, interfacing with stakeholders, and providing CAFM training.

They will produce accurate reports and monitor system activity statistics, developing bespoke and ad-hoc reports to support management and respond to changing operational needs. The candidate will work with management to measure and deliver SLAs and KPIs, identifying and reporting data quality or consistency concerns.
