Director of Sales Opportunity at a Stunning Mountain-Set 4-Star Hotel in Co. Sligo

Key Responsibilities:

- Effectively manage key corporate accounts, seizing opportunities and maintaining them optimally.

- Solicit, confirm, and negotiate transient accounts, ensuring budget targets are met.

- Proactively prospect new accounts, following the sales process for conversion.

- Manage the annual RFP process, providing market intelligence and pricing recommendations.

- Analyse monthly intelligence reports and GDS production reports to develop business strategies.

- Conduct regular competitor analysis, monitoring performance, rates, and sales activity.

- Update the CRM system accurately for measuring prospective business.

- Utilise various tools to solicit and secure business for the hotel.

- Impact corporate sales production to achieve maximum account penetration.

- Create and execute account plans, recommending pricing, yield management, and sales activities.

- Organise site inspections and entertain clients as needed.

- Handle group and events inquiries, ensuring accurate handover to the Events Team.

- Regular travel required.

Requirements:

- Desired experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector.

- Proven proactive sales experience.

- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.

- Travel involved; candidates must have a car for work and a full Driver's License.
