The role The Marketing Team are looking to appoint two exciting new positions. The 'Engagement Team' will be responsible for engaging and processing all our fostering enquiries, booking home visits and then supporting potential foster carers as they progress their way through the assessment process.
This is an exciting new role and one which is crucial to the growth of the agency. We are looking for bright and dynamic individuals who can work flexibly and are self-motivated. Ideally, we would ask that the successful applicant has some experience of working in a fostering environment and has excellent customer service skills.
The role would be based in your existing Action for Children office. Engagement Officers would be required to commit to working two evenings per week (6pm-8pm) working-from-home, as well as core daytime hours.
We will consider any applications that are based near our fostering and adoption services.
You will make a difference by:
- Providing a good customer journey.
- Ensuring there is a consistent approach.
- Enhancing the lives of children and young people.
You will need:
- Good communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- NVQ Leve 2 in Customer Services is desirable but not essential or relevant experience.
- Proven track record of delivering against targets.
- Knowledge and awareness of GDPR.
