Overview:

We are recruiting for a FACILITIES COORDINATOR to be based on site in Billingham, County Durham within a large Chemical Manufacturer.

This role offers full time hours and is a contract role; 6-12 months with the possibility of extension.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Interpreting security standards to create a sit assurance programme for the Teesside sites
  • Creating and maintaining a schedule of audits and activities to measure the effectiveness of the controls and highlight any risks or improvement opportunities
  • Identify sustainable resource plan to effectively deliver against the assurance programme, assigning responsibilities and tasks to the appropriate resource
  • Creating a document management system to provide a record of feedback, audits and control checks
  • Overseeing upgrade of site security systems as well as the transfer of data
  • Working with stakeholders to establish compliance
  • Manage multiple teams of contractors and third party organisations delivering security services and ensuring total compliance and site security standards
  • Identifying and appointing appropriate contractors and services, supporting the introduction of service level agreements.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with agencies and contracted service organisations

Candidate Specification:

  • Previous facilities coordinator experience (or comparable: Security, Quality or Compliance Assurance)
  • Proven experience of managing and maintaining records to demonstrate control and compliance
  • Experience assisting with resource planning
  • Previous experience working within a Quality function
  • Contractor and third party management experience
  • Experience of "Safe Systems of Work"
  • Ability to collect and analyse information from different sources to inform recommendations
  • Continuous improvement
