Overview:
We are recruiting for a FACILITIES COORDINATOR to be based on site in Billingham, County Durham within a large Chemical Manufacturer.
This role offers full time hours and is a contract role; 6-12 months with the possibility of extension.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Interpreting security standards to create a sit assurance programme for the Teesside sites
- Creating and maintaining a schedule of audits and activities to measure the effectiveness of the controls and highlight any risks or improvement opportunities
- Identify sustainable resource plan to effectively deliver against the assurance programme, assigning responsibilities and tasks to the appropriate resource
- Creating a document management system to provide a record of feedback, audits and control checks
- Overseeing upgrade of site security systems as well as the transfer of data
- Working with stakeholders to establish compliance
- Manage multiple teams of contractors and third party organisations delivering security services and ensuring total compliance and site security standards
- Identifying and appointing appropriate contractors and services, supporting the introduction of service level agreements.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with agencies and contracted service organisations
Candidate Specification:
- Previous facilities coordinator experience (or comparable: Security, Quality or Compliance Assurance)
- Proven experience of managing and maintaining records to demonstrate control and compliance
- Experience assisting with resource planning
- Previous experience working within a Quality function
- Contractor and third party management experience
- Experience of "Safe Systems of Work"
- Ability to collect and analyse information from different sources to inform recommendations
- Continuous improvement
