Finance Manager
South West Contract £555 - £695 per day
We're currently seeking a number of experienced and ambitious Finance Manager professionals to work with our exceptional client in a secure environment, supporting challenging and highly rewarding projects.
These contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in Gloucestershire.
You'll have the potential to work effectively across a diverse range of projects spanning multiple business units, such as communications, facilities, education, security and technical development. You will be encouraged and assisted to enhance your skills on unique projects.
You will be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm and experience of working in small, diverse, multi disciplinary teams to ensure outstanding delivery for senior stakeholders. You'll initiate and manage communication with a diverse set of senior stakeholders. Therefore, exceptional stakeholder management skills are a must. You will also need the leadership credentials to manage a small team. Highly analytical, flexible and persuasive, with first-class communication skills, you'll possess the ability to build effective relationships and support high impact, lasting change across the organisation.
These finance roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary.
Your experience:
As an exceptional finance professional you will have in previous roles:
- Provided programme managers with:
- Dedicated financial management
- Financial efficiency savings
- Delivery of financial targets
- Financial modelling/reporting
- Design and deliver of financial processes
- Evaluation and management of resource demand
- Support to ongoing management level initiatives
- Managed a of department budgets to produce accurate monthly forecasts and associated reports to comply with the organisation best practice
- Liaised with projects/programmes to determine, track and report resource requirements
- Acted as section finance and resource point of contact with internal and external stakeholders
- A proven track record of financial support of Programme/Portfolio
- Wide and proficient use of project tools and MS packages
- Previous experience of demand management
- Experience of financial assurance, investment appraisals and risk management
- Membership of a professional body
