Hospitality Assistant
Location: Bluewater Shopping Centre, Dartford, DA9
Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability
Contract Type: Temporary, zero hours, ad-hoc
Are you reliable, hardworking, and ready to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment? We're looking for a Hospitality Assistant (Kitchen Porter) to support our client's busy department store operations.
What You'll Do
- Maintain clean and sanitised kitchen work surfaces, equipment, and floors
- Wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery
- Dispose of rubbish promptly
- Assist with basic food preparation (peeling, chopping vegetables)
- Respond quickly to spills to keep operations running smoothly
- Work collaboratively with the team and communicate openly
- Represent the brand professionally and positively
What We're Looking For
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Level 1 Food & Hygiene Certificate (training provided if needed)
- Previous catering experience preferred but not essential
