We are looking for pro-active, positive, and results-orientated L&D Manager to lead our L&D team at TOG. A great relationship builder, stakeholder manager, collaborator and facilitator, the individual will drive, support, coach, challenge and inspire our teams and leaders to grow.
You will have proven experience in leading a Learning & Development team and will design and deliver TOG's L&D strategy, having the opportunity to change and shape the future of our L&D offer at TOG.
The role reports directly to the Director Talent and you will be responsible for manage a team that designs, delivers, procures, and measures earning interventions that support the development and success of our internal talent pool in the UK and Germany
What you can expect as our L&D Manager
- To set and deliver TOG's L&D strategy
- To be manage and lead the L&D team
- To be the L&D Business Partner for all Departments at Head Office
- To design, deliver and review training and development interventions required by the internal clients taking into consideration TOG's culture, values and tone of voice
- To ensure all employees have access to the relevant skills training they need to perform in their role as well as constantly reviewing and improving the training they require, as well as the tools they need
- To deliver and constantly evaluate the onboarding process, recommending, developing and delivering improvements
- To utilise our e-learning platform, ensuring content is used as part of TOG's blended learning solutions
- To measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions we deliver to continuously improve our offer and deliver ROI, keeping accurate records and managing the admin relating to all things learning
- To procure and manage external suppliers of training & development
- To manage external qualifications and PDP processes
- To implement and manage the apprenticeship programme
- To co-develop and deliver the leadership programme
- To support performance and talent management processes
- To support the recruitment team
- To facilitate team days, as well as individual coaching when required
- To demonstrate strong relationship building and networking skills to effectively partner with the business, and the People team
- To generate best practice, considering advancements in the industry whilst always maintaining our culture
- To deliver feedback to improve performance - role modelling our culture
- To ensure your objectives are in line with the strategic aims of the department, and the wider business, and constantly evaluate and evolve them, where necessary
- To actively seek feedback and seize opportunities to learn and develop

- Proven experience in managing a Learning & Development team
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, designing and delivering training interventions
- Apprenticeship scheme implementation and management
- LMS management
- Project management skills
- A background in partnering with various internal functions/departments
- A degree and/or and equivalent L&D qualification is essential
- Design of workshops and training materials
- L&D project management
- External Training Provider Procurement and Management
