Join Us to Help Shape the Future of Airbus Aircraft
Guidant Global is partnering with Airbus to find a proactive and experienced Landing Gear Structural Analysis Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative engineering environment, supporting both current aircraft programmes and new developments.

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the strength, safety, and continued airworthiness of landing gear systems across the Airbus commercial fleet. If you enjoy problem‑solving, technical analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll work closely with internal Airbus engineering teams as well as external suppliers such as Safran Landing Systems, Collins Aerospace, and Liebherr. Your key responsibilities will include:

Technical Delivery

  • Reviewing and approving suppliers' structural analysis reports, ensuring alignment with Airbus methodologies and standards.
  • Conducting static and fatigue structural assessments to support continued airworthiness.
  • Providing engineering input and structural expertise to resolve issues arising during testing, manufacturing, or in-service operation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Working closely with the wider Landing Gear team, Chief Engineers, Customer Services, and specialist technical signatories.
  • Coordinating analysis activities across In‑Service, Final Assembly Line (FAL), and Flight Test teams.

Problem Solving & Compliance

  • Identifying root causes of structural issues and driving robust, well‑planned resolutions.
  • Ensuring all work meets Airbus safety, certification, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaising with vendors and sub‑contractors to address technical challenges while balancing safety, performance, cost, and operational needs.

What We're Looking For
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, and experience is valued over formal qualifications. A strong foundation in structural analysis, stress engineering, or fatigue and damage tolerance is key.
Essential:

  • Strong background in Static Stress analysis and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT).
  • Prior experience within Airbus or an Airbus supplier.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical reports and provide clear, informed engineering judgement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with multiple engineering functions and suppliers.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous Landing Gear experience.
  • Experience as a Stress Engineer or F&DT Engineer in aerospace.

Contract Details & Benefits

  • Competitive pay:
    • £46.00 per hour (Umbrella)
    • £34.29 per hour (PAYE)
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
