To support the delivery of operational learning and development activities which enable a safe, compliant and continuously developing UK workforce in support of Battery Material's strategic goals.
Duties include-
- Act as the person responsible for learning and development activities across the UK to ensure compliance with regulatory, Human Resource (HR), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) including Quality Management System (QMS) requirements for staff competence. This covers staff technical, operational and regulatory knowledge and competence management recording and assessment, as well as their personal skills and development detailed in training plans. Ensuring training needs analysis and training records are kept up to date.
- Collaborate with managers and staff across the UK to ensure the creation and delivery of different site training plans which support compliance, team development and personal development.
- Lead on the management development programme, including design and delivery working with key stakeholders across the business.
- Create and maintain a preferred supplier list to ensure cost effective training solutions across UK sites, including training supplier management and co-ordination of training.
- Work with subject matter experts across the business in order to identify and deliver design of appropriate learning interventions to meet the requirements for our UK sites.
- Work with L&D colleagues across the sector globally to share learning and ensure a consistent approach to training.
- Own the sector on-boarding process including creation of standardised material.
- Undertake periodic reviews of learning interventions to support continuous improvement in the UK.
- Assist in employee engagement planning and delivery.
- Continuous development of robust training processes, material (where relevant) and reporting in order to improve the service quality and cost effectiveness of training.
- Collaborate with the wider JM Learning Community to ensure opportunities for cross-sector cost savings are realised and stay informed of JM and external best practice relating to learning and development activities.
- Carrying out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed, including training delivery where needed.
