Hyde is looking to recruit a Contract Manager to manage our lifts contracts, this includes residential lifts in blocks and customer homes.
As the Lift Contract Manager, you will use your technical expertise and hold responsibility for managing Lifts to ensure programmes are delivered on time, to budget and to agreed quality standards, ensuring Hyde meets its statutory, regulatory and policy requirements. Using technical expertise hold responsibility for managing allocated Property Health & Safety compliance servicing and inspection contract(s) to ensure programmes are delivered on time, to budget and to agreed quality standards, ensuring Hyde meets its statutory, regulatory and policy requirements.
Duties of a Lifts Contract Manager:
- To be responsible for Hyde's Housing Stock's Lifts and associated services, including specification, maintenance contracts and general advice.
- To plan and manage the maintenance and servicing programme for lifts to housing properties, in accordance with the Lift Operation and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
- To take responsibility for the monitoring of contracts including controlling costs and approving payments against contracts.
- To manage monthly performance meetings with consultants and contractors to effectively resolve contract issues to keep project delivery on track.
- To ensure works are delivered to a high quality standard that satisfies customer's needs and meets agreed service standards and in ensuring works comply with agreed building technical and H&S requirements.
- To ensure that the projects for which the post-holder is responsible comply with prevailing quality and technical standards.
- Engage with wider Safer Homes team to support and provide assurance where required
The ideal candidate will have a Lift Engineer background. CV's should clearly demonstrate your contract management experience and include career achievements.This role will include some travel to Hyde's other offices.
