Location: Broughton (on-site)

Hours: 35 hours per week, 4.5 days (between 7am-7pm, flexible within business needs)

Pay: £25.00 per hour PAYE / £33.44 per hour Umbrella

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)

About the Role

Join our team as a Logistics and Enablement Support specialist, where you'll play a vital part in the innovative Wing of Tomorrow programme. You'll work closely with manufacturing, build process, and production system teams to ensure our logistics and enablement operations are efficient, safe, and future-focused.

This is a hands-on role supporting the build of advanced composite wing boxes, where your expertise will help drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and digital integration in a highly automated environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the logistics and enablement strategy for the Wing of Tomorrow demonstrator build.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all operational requirements are met and embedded into our processes.
  • Planning and delivering operational needs, while supporting technology and process advancements.
  • Providing daily support for service providers, components, and equipment to keep production running smoothly.
  • Managing enablement activities, including calibration, tool booking, stock checks, and supplier liaison.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and championing safety standards.
  • Supporting recruitment, training, and development of staff, and planning resources for future needs.
  • Setting up service level agreements with internal and external providers.
  • Raising orders and managing goods receipt processes.
  • Acting as the main operational contact for industrial systems and supporting digital integration.
  • Driving continuous improvement through Lean and Airbus Operating System (AOS) principles.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in logistics support, production control, or facilities maintenance (beneficial).
  • Strong understanding of composite wing build enablement processes.
  • Experience working with service providers and managing enablement activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment, especially within digital factories.
  • Ability to engage with procurement, understand machines and maintenance, and manage goods in/out.
