Guidant Global is working with the UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, who need a Principal Supportability Engineer to be at the heart of the business based in Stevenage to integrate the project team environment throughout the product's design and development phase.

As a Principal Supportability Engineer with previous experience, you will influence your through-life support knowledge and capabilities, as well as interpersonal and communication skills, to satisfy customers' support requirements and MBDA's support-related business objectives.

What we're looking for:

  • Self-motivated team player who diligently promotes a practical attitude and a calm, proficient manner while working in a dynamic design environment.
  • An experienced engineer with a track record in the application of Supportability Engineering techniques such as (level of repair analysis, reliability centred maintenance, task analysis, and life cycle cost analysis).
  • Requiring sound knowledge of ILS standards (Def Stan 00-600 or ASD S3000L and understanding the customer environment, structure, and processes.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing essentials and priorities.

What you'll get to do as a Principal Supportability Engineer:

  • Performance Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) on new and revised designs.
  • Mitigation of maintenance and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) assessments
  • Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Disposal analysis
  • Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
  • Provisioning data compilation.
  • Supportability case preparation and assessing and implementing change on existing logistics data
  • Undertake production of reports as requested by contract, customer, or project

This role is based at MBDA's headquarters in Stevenage which plays a key part in missiles operations. The site also offers excellent transportation links and boasts an onsite gym and coffee shop. Training and development are offered to all employees.
