Production Scheduler - Airbus Broughton
Location: Broughton (onsite requirement)
Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, between 7am - 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)
Pay: £22.05/hr PAYE | £29.51/hr Umbrella
Security Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)
About the Role
Are you ready to play a key part in shaping the future of aerospace manufacturing? Airbus Broughton is seeking a motivated Production Scheduler to join our dynamic logistics team. You'll be at the heart of our "Wing of the Future" programme, supporting the assembly of Airbus wings and fuel system installation. What You'll Be Doing
- Championing health and safety by evaluating risks and driving continuous improvement in our processes for design, manufacture, assembly, and procurement.
- Supporting the delivery of aircraft parts to meet build, cost, and delivery targets.
- Collaborating with multi-functional teams to improve business performance and resolve day-to-day challenges.
- Enabling operational business areas to achieve financial targets and man-hour goals.
- Anticipating and responding to production rate changes, managing risks and opportunities.
- Supporting operational and functional deliverables, acting with agility to adapt to changes in production.
- Ensuring the Airbus Operating System (AOS) is deployed across relevant areas.
- Building strong relationships with Airbus Procurement and Logistics Service Providers to mitigate supplier risks and ensure smooth logistical processes.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced Google Sheets skills (including macros and data manipulation).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A results-driven, logical, and methodical approach to tasks and objectives.
- Determined, decisive, and proactive in developing effective solutions.
- Adaptable, flexible, and a great team player.
- SAP Planning & Logistics experience is desirable.
- Experience is valued over formal qualifications - if you have a background in planning, we want to hear from you!
- Ideally, you'll come from an Airbus or manufacturing background, but we're open to candidates from other industries who can demonstrate relevant planning experience.
