We have a new vacancy for a Project Office Analyst based at our offices in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be Responsible for producing a wide range of reports of varying complexity to a number of internal and external stakeholders at senior levels and the end customer and ensuring adherence to Project Office and governance standards and Transformation and Change project life cycle. Providing support to the senior members of the Transformation and Change function.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the maintenance of Project Office governance and standards through ensuring accuracy of data and reported MI
  • Design and/or manage governance processes to assure the effective application of Project or Programme governance including; planning, change control, risk and issue management, dependencies, resource management, work order engagement and budget control, etc.
  • As a member of the PMO Family, contribute to the setting and maintenance of best practice standards for Project or Programme Office Management or support within Transformation & Change
  • Enable and analyse regular monitoring of each Project or Programme against agreed measures and produce recommendations for action to improve data quality and delivery
  • Build and maintain effective partnership relationships within the Project / Programme and Delivery Managers to support effective delivery
  • Monitor, co-ordinate and / or report control of Project / Programme / Account budget and reporting and ensure timely provision of accurate and meaningful MI, highlighting issues for escalation
  • Support relevant Programme management to create and assure the timely and accurate production of non-resource and resource plans so as to identify relevant skills, knowledge and experience requirements
  • Management of direct reports including performance management, career development, recruitment succession planning, communication and other related activities
  • Work with relevant Transformation & Change management to ensure creation of timely and accurate governance and reporting packs for submission into the governance committees
  • Provide general support and guidance to Transformation and Change function
  • Ensuring that TCF / Conduct risk principles are understood and embedded throughout the project life cycle

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at A-C Grade
  • Prince 2 qualification desirable

Skills:

  • Expert MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power point), Intermediate MS Project and Visio skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively, Strong report writing skills, Willingness and ability to manage and take ownership of PMO processes

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in a PMO Analyst / Project support roles
  • Awareness of contractual obligations in relation to change delivery on the various accounts
