An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Project Manager to provide business management and technical support within the Research and Development Automation & Assembly Technology team.
You will join the Robotics & Automation Development team and have the ability to get an insight in what it takes to manage the entire portfolio of projects, people and budget.
Within the team, you will be responsible for the implementation of the right management processes, standards, methods, and tools to enable the leadership team to manage the full perimeter. To make that possible, you will be accountable to actively drive the data consistency and processes in our team and to prepare the right decisions for the management team.
You will represent the Automation Development Technology team in front of multiple stakeholders in terms of our financials and our business performance. You will have the opportunity to drive specific strategic and technical topics across Airbus. This will allow you to employ your technical background across this exciting domain.
Responsibilities
- Drive a robust process for our yearly budget cycle for the entire team.
- Drive special technical topics, strategic and business improvement projects within the team.
- Challenge the status quo and pursue new opportunities to improve our internal processes.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders to define and challenge the AOP and team performance.
- Develop and maintain a network with all relevant stakeholder to enable the ambitions.
- Deliver to our commitments with a strong network.
Competancies
- Industrial / Manufacturing / Engineering / Business Management / Project management degree would be desirable.
- Project Management experience.
- A background in robotics or research and development would be desirable.
- You like to communicate, and you have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You enjoy analysing and simplifying complex topics.
- You like to work in a team and energise others.
- You enjoy working in a transnational environment with diverse colleagues.
- Negotiation level in English (both written and verbal) is a must as we are working in a transnational environment daily.
