This is a home-based role and covers the whole of the UK, with regular travel within your region of responsibility.

The roleThis is a fantastic time to join the fundraising team to continue to drive the recent corporate fundraising strategy within community fundraising. You will be managing the pipeline of local corporate acquisition across all regional community fundraising teams to achieve financial and non-financial targets. Our 4 year target has been doubled to £5 million so we are looking to bring on board an energetic, commercially minded manager looking to utilise their relationship building skills and to really drive the team to hit targets.
You will make a difference by:- Leading and managing performance of the Central and South West regional fundraising area, setting objectives and KPIs for the successful delivery of community fundraising, with particular focus on local corporate fundraising activity across all community fundraising teams
- Monitoring all income and expenditure targets for local corporate fundraising activity across the Community fundraising teams, reporting on variance against budget and taking ultimate responsibility for achieving or exceeding local corporate income targets
- Driving the Central and South West team to hit income targets.
- Deputising for the Head of Community Fundraising in all areas as required and contributing to the leadership and direction of Community Fundraising through the regional/senior management team
You will need:- Proven experience in hitting significant new business targets
- Proven experience of delivering projects, applying project planning and management techniques
- Experience of managing the acquisition pipeline and resources for corporates fundraising managers
- An understanding of the corporate sector and community fundraising discipline and issues relating to charity management, charity legislation, best practice and other regulatory requirements
- Excellent relationship building skills, ability to build rapport and develop relationships with a variety of people
- Ability to set, manage and monitor complex budgets and to track, analyse and report against results
