The role
Fostering South support children across Hampshire, London and Kent providing long term, short term, therapeutic and parent and child fostering homes to children aged 0-18. These provisions offers those who have experienced significant trauma in their lives an opportunity to overcome adversity and have the chance to form stable and secure relationships with their foster parents.

As a Team leader administrator your role is to Lead and manage a team of administrative staff across the cluster to deliver high quality and customer focused support services.

This role can be undertaken remotely and would therefore invite applications from those outside the immediate areas the service covers.


You will make a difference by:

- Work closely with the senior management team to support the preparation of briefing papers (including referring to and interpreting statistical data), reports, communications and presentations.

- Manage the delivery of a range of administrative services i.e. front desk services, meetings management, maintenance of information and database systems.

- Work with senior management to monitor contract performance to report on outcomes achieved against performance criteria, preparing reports to highlight achievements and variances.

- You will ensure the highest standards of service provision, compliance and support through effective professional management of Business Support Officer 1 & 2's across the South region.


You will need:

- Business Administration or Management S/NVQ Level 3, equivalent qualification or experience preferred but not essential

- Experience Of local financial and budgetary management, including tracking of income and expenditure, budget variations and under\overspend.

- Proven track record in the use of relevant specialist IT packages to produce reports and presentations.

- Experience of setting and achieving deadlines and highlighting issues of risk.

- Effective written communication skills to assist with the preparation of Departmental reports for members of the management team.
