You will deliver the process of service charge recovery, including the estimation, calculation, reconciliation, administration and accounting of service charge costs to residents.
Duties of a Property Charges Coordinator:
- Producing detailed estimates of future costs as part of the budget setting process.
 - Calculating provisions based upon actual replacement and refurbishment requirements.
 - Checking contracts and the allocation of costs to schemes.
 - Reviewing exceptions within schemes and resolving issues.
 - Ensuring invoices and costs are logged accurately.
 - Checking coding and apportionment of invoices relating to service charges.
 - On an adhoc basis, undertake other activities in accordance with timescales as required by the property charges manager, including:
 - Accurately preparing and issuing reports and demands such as repairs listings for homeowners, including service charge, ground rent demands and other relating costs.
 - Assisting with the production of regular service charge accounts, reviewing and preparing statements for printing.
 - Assisting with the preparation and issuing of information for solicitors and mortgage companies in relation to service charges and relating costs.
 - Provide efficient and clear responses to assist the business in handling residents' queries, providing information to assist the investigation and resolution of issues.
 - From time to time, this may include processing enquiries/complaints and attendance at resident consultation meetings
