Hours: 40 per week (8am-5pm)
Hybrid Working: After 6‑month probation (2.5 days in office, Wednesday half‑day changeover)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Dispatcher with hands‑on planning or scheduling experience. This is a busy, fast‑paced role involving constant communication with customers, engineers, and managers. You will allocate engineering resource, manage incoming jobs, coordinate maintenance planning, and ensure customers receive timely updates.
You will join a team of 18, reporting to the Service Support Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound/outbound customer calls and log details accurately
  • Build strong relationships with customers, engineers, and ASMs
  • Provide regular job status updates
  • Plan and allocate both planned and reactive maintenance work
  • Track VOR trucks and escalate when needed
  • Manage engineer absence planning with ASMs
  • Check timesheets for accuracy, overtime, and productivity
  • Ensure correct billing and clear error logs
  • Review resources and skill matrices with ASMs
  • Attend internal team and ASM meetings
  • Monitor engineer performance and escalate issues appropriately

Person Requirements

  • Proven planning or dispatching experience (engineers/drivers ideal)
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication skills across all levels
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and email workflows
  • SAP experience desirable but not essential
  • Background in MHE, logistics, or warehousing advantageous
    (Ideal: Linde, Toyota, Crown, Culina)
