Site Supervisor - Jungheinrich | Highbridge (TA9)

We are now looking for an experienced, customer-focused Site Supervisor to join us on a manned customer site in Highbridge, supporting a mixed fleet of materials handling equipment.
About the Role
As a Site Supervisor (without staff responsibility), you will be the first point of contact for our customer on-site, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standard and service levels are consistently achieved.
This is a hands-on technical role, ideal for an engineer with strong electrical skills and experience working independently in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance and repair work on a range of materials handling and ancillary equipment
- Complete accurate service reports, timesheets and associated paperwork
- Manage and control on-site parts stock
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure expectations are met in line with contract commitments
- Liaise closely with the After Sales team to provide updates on repair times and ETAs
- Support customer review meetings when required
- Identify follow-up work and ensure chargeable tasks are completed promptly
- Promote Jungheinrich products and act as a positive Company Ambassador
- Ensure full compliance with all company and customer health & safety procedures
About the Site
You'll be supporting a mid‑sized operation comprising:
- 9 Reach Trucks
- 20-30 Powered Pallet Trucks (PPTs)
- A small number of UPCs (Under Pallet Carriers) with some automation on-site
What We're Looking For
- Strong electrical bias and experience in MHE, automotive, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex‑forces engineering
- Excellent customer service skills and confidence as the sole on-site engineer
- Experience completing paperwork, admin and handling customer queries
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- A full UK driving licence
