๐ About the Role
Join the Fostering, Supervision & Support Team supporting foster carers across Exeter & East Devon. You'll help ensure safe, stable, and thriving placements through supervision, training, quality assurance, and adherence to fostering standards and regulations.
๐ง Key Responsibilities
๐งก Support, advise & supervise foster carers to maintain high-quality placements.
๐ Carry out unannounced visits, annual reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
๐งโ๐ซ Assist with training for prospective & existing foster carers.
๐ก๏ธ Ensure practice aligns with Fostering Regulations & National Minimum Standards.
๐ค Promote safe, nurturing environments for children in placement.
๐ Travel across Exeter & East Devon to meet service needs.
โจ Skills & Experience Required
๐ Social Work qualification + SWE registration
โ๏ธ ASYE completed
๐ Strong knowledge of fostering legislation & care options
๐งฉ Experience in fostering OR transferable skills from children & families work
โ๏ธ Excellent communication, relationship-building & recording skills
๐๏ธ Strong time-management & planning ability
๐ Own transport required
