🔎 About the Role
Join the Fostering, Supervision & Support Team supporting foster carers across Exeter & East Devon. You'll help ensure safe, stable, and thriving placements through supervision, training, quality assurance, and adherence to fostering standards and regulations.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
🧡 Support, advise & supervise foster carers to maintain high-quality placements.
🔎 Carry out unannounced visits, annual reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
🧑🏫 Assist with training for prospective & existing foster carers.
🛡️ Ensure practice aligns with Fostering Regulations & National Minimum Standards.
🤝 Promote safe, nurturing environments for children in placement.
🚗 Travel across Exeter & East Devon to meet service needs.
✨ Skills & Experience Required
🎓 Social Work qualification + SWE registration
✔️ ASYE completed
📚 Strong knowledge of fostering legislation & care options
🧩 Experience in fostering OR transferable skills from children & families work
✍️ Excellent communication, relationship-building & recording skills
🗂️ Strong time-management & planning ability
🚗 Own transport required
