We're currently seeking a number of experienced and ambitious Software Engineers to work with our exceptional client, a world class brand in a secure environment to support major challenging and highly rewarding projects across this complex organisation which will run well into 2025.

These contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in Central London.

These Software Engineer roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll have the potential to work effectively across a number of teams and a diverse range of projects within our technology community. You will be encouraged and assisted to enhance your skills on unique projects.

You will be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm and experience of working in small, diverse, multi disciplinary teams to deliver flexible and outstanding solutions for internal and external senior stakeholders. You need to have proven track record of delivering full life cycle software projects to time, cost, quality and meeting customer's expectations and requirements .

Your experience:

As an exceptional Software Engineer you will have:

  • Worked as part of a team of developers on minor & major projects
  • Experience of developing enterprise wide business systems that are robust, maintainable, secure, scalable and have good performance
  • Contributed to all activities within the software development life cycle
  • Worked with project managers to ensure delivery of accurate project documentations and designs
  • Produced detailed technical design specifications and documentation
  • Understanding of concepts of the agile process and be able to contribute to the agile sprint planning session to rapidly deliver capability
  • Worked closely with the test team to automate test scripts to code releases to incorporate continuous integration and automated deployment procedures
  • Worked closely with the business analyst team to understand the requirements
  • Communicated with the other agile development teams to advance technology sustainability
  • Experience of Atlassian tool suits
  • Experience of various operating systems (Windows/Linux)
  • Build & Release management experience, with use of tools such as Maven, ANT, Ivy, puppet, ansible
  • Technical competency in: Testing (TDD/Automation), Continuous integration and test tools, Scripting languages, Knowledge of database technologies, Big Data/Hadoop/Mondo DB, Messaging Tech, Vulnerability research
