We're now looking for an organised and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join the Landing & Fuel System Equipment team in Filton. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy problem‑solving, and want to make a real impact on global aviation programmes, this could be a great fit for you.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping Airbus production lines moving. You'll act as the link between suppliers across Europe and the US and internal teams around the world-ensuring the right parts arrive at the right place, at the right time.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supply Chain & Supplier Management
- Managing a diverse portfolio of first‑tier suppliers
- Acting as the daily interface for supplier and customer communications
- Monitoring delivery performance and addressing delays before they impact production
- Supporting supplier performance reviews and providing relevant feedback
Order & Inventory Management
- Managing and monitoring purchase orders to ensure alignment with programme needs
- Optimising ordering parameters (e.g., safety stock, batch sizes, reorder points)
- Handling reorders following scrap, rejection, or damage
- Tracking delivery forecasts and maintaining accurate 'line of balance' data
- Analysing MRP and supply‑chain exception messages
Problem Solving & Performance Monitoring
- Supporting the resolution of quality, logistics, or invoice issues
- Monitoring KPIs such as stock levels, missing parts, ordering performance and service levels
- Ensuring timely escalation to prevent production impacts
- Assisting with supplier stock monitoring and scrap/sell/transfer processes when required
What You'll Bring
Essential
- Experience working in a supply chain function
- Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with data
- A motivated self‑starter who enjoys taking ownership and learning on the job
- Excellent communication skills and customer‑focused approach
Mandatory
- Working experience with SAP
- Practical experience with end‑to‑end supply chain processes
Desirable
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Ability to "hit the ground running" in a fast‑paced environment

Other Important Details
- Security Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)
- Working Pattern: 35 hours over 4.5 days between 7am-7pm (hours agreed with the business)
