The successful candidate will collate, sort, audit and administer all technical records and documents in accordance with Airbus procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with the Technical Records Coordinator regarding their day-to-day priorities
  • Complying with all applicable Regulatory Articles (RAs) and Atlas processes
  • Collecting all paperwork, sorting and distributing it to relevant members of the Technical Support and CAW Management departments for review
  • Carrying out a Daily and Monthly audit of all MDS transactions carried out by the Pt 145, raising WORs for corrections and reporting errors back
  • Carrying out a Technical Logbook Check ensuring all documentation within the logbook is present, true and accurate
  • Ensuring all blank documents are present and correct within the Documents Packs generated for down route activities
  • Scanning, electronically filing and archiving all documentation in the correct location and format according to the applicable Atlas procedures
  • Collating the requested data for the Military Airworthiness Review (MAR) team in support of the annual audit
  • Publishing all approved Engineering Documentation as requested on the F Drive so it is accessible by all relevant departments
  • Transferring Engineering Documentation to the MRO as requested IAW Export Control Regulations
  • Downloading and archiving all aircraft flight data
  • Carrying out actions identified in the fortnightly audits received from Data Analysis and raising WORs for this when required
  • Performing retrospective data entry into MDS for:
    • Aircraft exiting from Base Maintenance
    • Aircraft returned to Main Operating Base from Retrofit or other external maintenance agencies.
    • Including, ensuring all maintenance is reforecasting correctly, all transactions have been carried out correctly utilising the P/Ns and S/Ns listed on Form 1s/CofCs
  • Ensuring availability of all digital media when required, including but not limited to: Digital aircraft mapping, navigational databases and Tactical Terrain Databases
  • Updating any procedures and/or desktop instructions when necessary
  • Delivering training to any new employees or any further training requirements within the Technical records team relating to the above responsibilities
  • Where possible carrying out tasks, within his/her capabilities, to assist other departments within the organisation
  • Supporting and contributing to any continuous improvement programme

Skill Set

  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to work autonomously and be highly organised
  • Must have previous data entry experience
