Work Pattern:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: £13.36 per hour
Contract: Till end of November 2026
Job Purpose
To support the Repair Workshop by carrying out a variety of warehouse, stock, and operational duties. This role ensures the smooth flow of parts, materials, and consumables through accurate stock handling, replenishment, and general workshop support.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Duties
- Perform general operative tasks as required.
- Cardboard baling and waste‑handling duties.
- Packing items securely for despatch.
- Booking incoming goods into the system.
- Carry out tent duties including receiving and despatching deliveries (no forklifting required).
- Move pallets safely within the workshop (manual movement only).
- Support additional workshop tasks as required.
Stock & Inventory Control
- Receive and stock‑check incoming parts for the repair team.
- Highlight any parts discrepancies or delivery issues.
- Notify team members of out‑of‑stock items.
- Communicate parts requirements to order in a timely manner.
- Review and replenish workshop parts shelving regularly.
- Support stock control activities within the overflow stock location.
- Plan, organise, and assign new stock locations.
- Assist with stock cycle counts as required.
- Complete any other stock or inventory tasks as needed.
Skills required
- 6 months minimum warehouse experience
- Basic data entry
- Stock check and management
