Role: Young Person's Worker
Location: Stoke on Trent
Pay: £8.91 per hour DOE
Hours: Permanent, Part time - 10 hours per week

At Stoke Aiming High, we provide a wide variety of activities for Children and Young People with disabilities or additional needs up to their 20th birthday who aren't able to go to other community activities in their community without some support.
As a Young Person's Worker, it will be your responsibility to create and provide a safe and fun environment for service users to enjoy social experiences.
How will you make a difference?
- By providing personal care and maintaining personal hygiene.
- By administering medication.
- By providing 1:1 support to service users in community activities.
- By ensuring safeguarding practices are in place.
- By building strong rapports with Children, Young People and Families.
- By supporting parents/carers to have a short break from their caring responsibilities.
What do you need?
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or the willingness to work towards one.
- Previous experience working with service users with various disabilities.
- A Positive and Caring attitude is a
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the business
- Fun and energetic attitude towards the activity sessions.
