BPOs are responsible for owning an end-to-end business process, including the portion touched by the underlying SAP system, and implementing standard manual controls to mitigate risks where system functionality is insufficient. They must apply sound business, governance, risk and control judgement to establish best practice standardised processes to be used across all JM sites within the Sector. They will guide the strategic direction of the Unify template to prioritise fixes and improvements to the template to achieve business goals. The end goal is to drive efficiencies into the business via consistent, optimised processes enforced where practical via the Unify template design.
They will work with deployment sites to support the message that Unify is about process change, rather than technology / system change. BPOs also need to ensure all necessary controls, system reporting and governance practices are in place to minimise risk to JM, assess business performance, reduce working capital and improve operating profit.
Skills required -
- Cost accountant - project costing - within manufacturing sector - business experience
- project/product/operations accountant for a manufacturing business
- experience in product costing within SAP
- Knowledge and experience in process mapping
- understanding of financial flows through ERP systems
- Senior management in an financial role within a dynamic manufacturing business, going through scaleup/transformation
- Preferably qualified in CIMA, but ACCA or ACA with relevant experience
