Cloud Technical Architect
Home Counties Contract £500-750 per day
We're currently seeking an accomplished and highly ambitious technical Cloud professional to work with our exceptional client, a world class brand in a secure environment to drive major business transformation, process and technical change across this complex organisation which will run well into 2025.
These contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in the Home Counties.
These technical Cloud professional roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll have the potential to work effectively across a large number of teams and a diverse range of projects within our technology community. You will be encouraged and assisted to enhance your skills on unique projects.
You will be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm and experience of working in small, diverse, multi disciplinary teams to deliver flexible and outstanding solutions for internal and external senior stakeholders. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are a must. Highly analytical, flexible and persuasive, with first-class influencing skills, you'll possess the ability to build effective relationships and drive high impact, lasting change across the organisation. You need to have an understanding of Agile principals and the impact of technical changes on business requirements as well as familiarity with ITIL/Prince/PROSCI.
Your experience:
As an exceptional Cloud technical professional you will have:
- Understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies (TOGAF, MODAF, DODAF, INCOSE, UML, EA, Zachman, COBIT, UML)
- Worked with other members of the architecture/project teams and customers to design real world infrastructure/application architecture solutions to meet the business and customer requirements.
- Interfaced with customers to fully understand their business drivers and requirements
- Developed detailed technical designs, producing a range of documents including high level & low level designs
- Produced of technical options, assessing the merits of different implementation approached and providing recommendations
- Ensured appropriate technology selections are made and architectural principals are maintained; market investigation and experimentation where required
- Ensured infrastructure/application architecture designs align with the Technical Authorities' technology and the organisation's business plan
- Contributed to the development of Impact assessments, commercial proposals and project delivery plans.
- Participated in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate network designs and validate proposed solutions

These roles are available on 24 month contracts (inside IR35) and offer flexible and hybrid working in most cases.
