Employment Marketing Manager

Location: Filton

Job Type: 12 month contract - covering Maternity Leave

My client is looking for a hands-on Employment Marketing Manager to develop and execute a UK strategy in line with our global strategy for my client that encompasses and leverages our core values and strategic vision.

As my client accelerates our purpose in pioneering sustainable Aerospace, the Employment Marketing Manager will lead our efforts to build the brand in the UK, working with partners across the organization to tell the story of what it is like to work for my client and ensuring it is consistently and meaningfully represented in all candidate touch points in order to strengthen our brand awareness, increase candidate reach, and position my client as an Employer of Choice.

2021 will be different in many ways, so this 12 month maternity cover is a unique opportunity to help shape, drive and implement the actions that meet the needs of the clients Commercial and the Defense and Space business in the UK, in the short and longer term.

Accountabilities

● Work closely with Talent Acquisition and organizational leaders to understand our needs and challenges in attracting talent. Develop targeted branding campaigns to address those challenges.

● Leverage opportunities to engage employees in employment branding efforts.

● Evaluate metrics, report on campaign results and determine ROI.

● Adapt messaging as appropriate to resonate with the different segments of employees and candidates.

● Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Corporate Marketing to ensure the culture message that is promoted and shared internally is consistently and appropriately shared externally.

● Promote, maintain and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion and leadership.

In brief, the successful candidate will be organised, at ease with digital tools and social media and love connecting the dots (and people!). You are someone recognised for how you listen, understand and communicate messages to people in different context.

This position is part of the global Employment Marketing team, with leadership of Employment Marketing activities in the UK for all divisions.

Qualifications/Skills

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field

● > 3+ years experience

● Experience in growing talent pool in niche markets as well as mass volume recruitment (apprenticeships and graduate programmes)

● Experience in measuring Employer value Proposition (EVP) impact internally and externally

● Experience in hybrid and/or virtual events

● Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

● Ability to self-motivate and work independently

● Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels and across functions

● Strategic thinking skills

● Personal effectiveness/credibility

The hourly rate is between £21.00 - £25.00 LTD Company or £16.12 - £19.19 PAYE.
