Are you passionate about creating a safe and inclusive workplace? We're looking for an enthusiastic Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our Facilities Management and Real Estate team in Broughton, North Wales.
What You'll Do:
- Champion Safety: Lead the charge in ensuring top-notch safety standards across our operations and service providers.
- Risk Management: Support the local team in implementing effective risk controls and maintaining compliance with new and existing equipment.
- Contractor Oversight: Review safety management systems of prospective contractors during the pre-qualification process.
- Inspections & Audits: Conduct EHS inspections and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to legal requirements like CDM Regulations 2015 and the Building Safety Act.
- Incident Management: Report, investigate, and implement corrective actions for work-related incidents.
- Strategic Advice: Provide expert EHS advice for strategic projects, from feasibility to design reviews.
- Promote Safety Culture: Drive EHS initiatives, including safety reviews, KPI reporting, training, awareness campaigns, and inductions.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent (minimum).
- Experience: Proven track record in implementing safety projects in dynamic environments, formal risk assessment, and auditing techniques.
- Facilities Management: Relevant experience in facilities management, including construction and maintenance.
- Team Player: A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Professional Development: Commitment to continuous professional growth, ideally with membership in a professional body like IOSH.
