As the HR Coordinator, you will advise upon and deliver outcomes in a compliant and commercially viable way during disciplinary and grievance procedures, change programmes and redundancy.

Typical day in the life:

  • Day to day HR support for the account team
  • Ensuring Detached Duty contracts are issued to workers travelling overseas
  • Conducting return to work interviews
  • Making sure that policies are fit for purpose and all Impellam policy updates are communicated to the account team
  • Issuing contracts

The successful applicant will have some previous HR experience and knowledge of HR and the main processes, IT tools, and relevant legislation and ideally you will be CIPD qualified (or working towards this qualification).

You will also need:

  • Knowledge of legal compliance around contingent labour
  • Flexibility to work across a range of functional areas
  • A highly proactive mindset together with the ability to anticipate and address business issues and offer solutions to the manager
  • Good communication and conflict management skills, teamwork and networking abilities.
