Project Manager For Procurement Processes
Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL10 0PS
Contract: Permanent 12 Months Fixed Term
Hours: 37 per week (Some flexible homeworking available)

We are looking to grow by around 5% year on year and placing music at the very heart of the organisation. We are now recruiting for a Project Manager - Finance and Procurement. This is a new post, as we've identified the need for some dedicated embedded Project Management expertise within the service, particularly with the view to Project Managing an upcoming key systems procurement project.

What you will need?
We are looking for someone to manage the implementation of our new finance & procurement system - working at pace and engaging our finance, procurement and operational stakeholders throughout the project.
The ideal candidate will have a local authority background. The main purpose of the role will be with the new system. You will be reviewing the current process without the new system and looking at process mapping for when the new system is implemented-Experience of this is essential.
- Have a high degree of autonomy to deliver project benefits.
- Manage Project team members during the lifecycle of the project.
- Provide excellent project management and co-ordination to defined projects; providing leadership to the project, engaging positively with staff at all levels;
- Develop and agree with the Programme Management Office (interdependencies and committing resources as required.
- Ensure delivery to time, quality and cost (i.e. to budget). Ensuring there is an effective appropriate communications and training plan.
Are you a dynamic Project Manager? With previous experience in a large educational setting would be advantageous, or a good mix of public and private sector experience would also make an ideal candidate.
